My friend Corinne shared this awesome blog post from Re-Grow Roots about why to grow a garden. Gardening is a central part of my spirituality. It involves so much that is important to my Druidism – forming a deep relationship with the land, connecting with the seasons, and creativity. It’s pure magic, when you think about it. You take a little seed and, through the transformative powers of water and fire (the sun), you get this whole new being that blesses us with food.
If you’ve been on the fence about starting a garden, even if it’s one little pot on your balcony, may this list inspire you to give it a try. And when you have a fruit or veggie to show for your love and labor, remember to say “thank you” to the plant!
Thanks for sharing the list I conjoured up! 🙂 I’ve been studying & harnessing my powers of intention and magic for a few years now and I’m very intriqued by your interests. Looking forward to reading more of your blog!
Thanks! I am also excited to have found your blog. Sustainability, gardening, DIY, and the like are all very important to me! I’m sure I’ll get a lot of inspiration from your blog!
