A Ditzy Druid Giveaway!

I’m very proud to announce that my blog has finally reached, and surpassed, 20,000 views!  It’s very humbling and meaningful to know that so many have found their way to may little corner of the internet.  I hope I’ve been able to inform, inspire, and delight my readers – even if you have come here accidentally!  I hope to continue sharing my views, creations, and experiences with you for years to come.

To celebrate this milestone, and to say thank you, I decided to do a giveaway! It’s kind of cliched in the blogging world, but why not?   And what better to offer than one of my popular and beloved tree spirit plushies?

This autumn oak tree spirit is based on my original design and uses my original pattern.  He’s made from new and recycled materials.  Other people who have purchased them from me in the past have used them as decorations or have put them on their altars as representations of nature spirits.  I can’t recommend them as toys for wee ones due to the eyes and armatures in the hands, but older kids may like them – especially as a start to a kid friendly altar.

To Enter:

  1. You must follow the Ditzy Druid Blog
  2. You must repost this on your own blog, FB, or twitter (your choice) to share the love!
  3. You must comment and tell me something you like about my blog and link back to your repost.  I must be able to see that you actually passed this on.

This contest will run between now (7/12/12) until Lughnasadh (August 1st, 2012).  I’ll put all the names in a hat and have my husband, Weretoad, randomly select one!  The winner will be announced then.

Good luck and thank you for reading!

  1. That is ADORABLE! I want one!
I don’t think I’m officially a “follower” as I don’t use RSS feed things, but I do check here regularly?
I love that each post has something about druidry/spirituality to it but is also about your life – some blogs try to separate these things which doesn’t feel right/possible to me. And I’m going to tweet about this as celestialrose. 🙂

    1. Thanks Rose! I follow you on Twitter and saw your tweet. Since all my posts are automatically tweeted, I think it’s safe to say you follow me there. 😉 I’ve got you down! Thanks so much for your comment. I feel that way too – I don’t like to separate my spirituality from my life because they aren’t separated normally. Why would I blog that way?

  2. Ive been following you for a while now, but I think my favorite thing about your blog is how casual it is. A lot of people in our community get a little…overdone in their posts. While some things need to be taken seriously, you have the right mix of fun.

      1. When you want to make a serious statement you make it when you want to keep it casual you do that too. As with all things in druidry it is about balance.

  3. Heya! Of course I follow your blog, hehe. I love how both practical and welcoming your writing style and topics are, and how real it is as well. There is no nonsense, no “I am holier than thou” writing that makes bloggers seem too big for their britches. When I read it, I see a peer, a fellow spiritual person on their own path. Also, I gain small insights into druidism, which I do find pretty fascinating. I also adore your handmade artwork and would looooovvveee a shot at the plushie. I retweeted your original tweet (funny stream of words there) and await anxiously the results!

    1. Also, please forgive my terrible grammar today, quite sick for most of this morning and mental faculties are down or not caring at all.

  4. I follow your blog via RSS, and i just tweeted about this giveaway — and Twitter followed you. I love reading your posts because they give me practical Druid-life suggestions. 🙂
