The Gift of Gardening

We wanted to give hubby’s mum a gift so I thought it would be nice to give her an edible container garden! She lives in a high rise and has a bare balcony. She needed a plant!

We gave her a tomato I grew from seed. I have so many that I wanted to share the homegrown love. We added some basil from a local greenhouse. Weretoad picked out a fun gnome. The balcony looks happier already!

  1. I love this!! I have a few containers of tomato plants with more that I need to get planted and I have several herbs too. It’s so exciting!!

  2. Hey there! I think I might have your email somewhere but if I do I can’t find it so I’m posting here! I am looking for someone to write a food feature in the Autumn issue of Pagan Living, the magazine I run. Could you drop by The Witch of Howling Creek and let me know if you might be interested or not?

    1. Hi there,

You can reach me at greycatsidheATgmailDOTcom. I’m going to have to say no for now. I have some other projects lined up and I can’t really handle more. I hope you understand! Perhaps for a future issue. 🙂 Thanks for considering me!

  3. Gardening is my personal hobby mainly because it truly facilitates me to enjoy and loosen up. I love to grow plants and flowers both indoors as well as outside the house. My own preferred plants are tropical ornamental plants and flowers as well as fruit bearing plants.

    1. It definitely relaxes me! I can’t say how often I go outside just to look at the plants. They make me feel so proud and content. I’m only just getting into indoor, tropical plants. I hope I do them justice… I have a dwarf lemon tree but I can’t wait until I can afford land of my own. I would love to start an orchard!
