My newest favorite blog is lil fish studios, written by Lisa Jordan of Brainerd, MN. I happened upon it today while checking out a crafting blog. They linked to her awesome tutorial on making simple felted rocks. As you may recall, I’ve been toying with felting recently so I just had to check it out. I fell in love! This is exactly the type of blog I love. I have no idea what her spiritual path is, but it is clear that she’s interested in the environment, naturally inspired art, natural materials, whimsy, DIY, and raising her children to be just as creative and passionate about nature as she is! Not to mention, she is just as fascinated with acorns and mushrooms as I am – perhaps even more! She is the perfect blend of naturalist and artisan. Gods, I’m so inspired. Now that I finished my pile of homework, I’m going to play with some needle, felt, and beads.
