A Walk in the Forest

My husband and I took a walk in the forest yesterday afternoon.  Now that we’ve accumulated snow, the forest floor is littered with tracks, giving hints as to who our neighbors are.  The standards were there – deer, birds, squirrels, rabbits…  Tiny tracks might have belonged to a feral cat or a fox.

We also saw porcupine tracks and followed them to a tree.
Can you see the porcupine?  It was in the same area as the last one I sited.
Perhaps  it is the same?
I visited the Hag Tree and made offerings to Cailleach   for a kind winter.  I will continue to make offerings to her through the cold months.
