From NPR’s show “Snap Judgement”

While driving home, I heard this great story on “Snap Judgement” called “My Daughter’s Keeper” all about a girl who decides to rebel against a teacher and how her mother handles it.  It’s a great story and, in the end, ties into the Samhain season with regards to remembering ancestors.  You just must listen to it!  I don’t condone the teacher’s methods, and I have very mixed feelings about the use of corporal punishment (even though it’s a tempting concept sometimes…lol), but the mother’s thoughts on respect, tied to ancestors, really caught my attention.
