Neat mushrooms at Hyde Lake

Hyde Lake, NY

In addition to all this, I saw little fish who stalked my toes and tried to eat my fingers, a deer, a humming bird, and a pheasant.

  1. Neat! I love how the first picture makes the isle look like a little sculpture on someone’s desk. Devil’s Oven Island sounds scary though, I wonder what the story is behind that name!

Oh and the mushroom is so cute, perhaps cute enough to sauté…or maybe not as it’s probably poisonous!

I may only be a hobby photographer but I think these images still turned out really well. Thank you for sharing them!

  2. The millionaires row tour is fun – I did it last summer. And next time you’re on Hyde lake let me know! If I’m home I’ll have you guys over….

    1. I totally would have called, but my dad was with us. He’s not very social and it takes him awhile to warm up to new people so it would have been really awkward for him. lol I did mention to my husband that I think I saw the farmland across your street from the edge of the lake. Did you say you can see it when the leaves fall?
