Babies in the Garden

For me, one of the most exciting parts of gardening is watching fruits and veggies form out of almost thin air. If you’re not observant for a couple days, or if you go away, you’ll suddenly see a growing orb and feel as if you just stumbled on a precious gem. As a gardener, it’s one of the most fulfilling feelings. With your care, that plant felt happy enough to have a baby. What’s more, that plant is large enough to have a sizable baby! In the above photos you’ll see I have three babies on the way – a zucchini, an eggplant, and a little pumpkin!

In addition to all these, I have small budding sunflowers, more tomatoes on the way, including the largest I’ve ever personally grown (a Brandywine), and my strawberry bush is *finally* flowering!

How are my fellow gardeners doing?
