“The dance is life, the dance is all…”

April 30, 2011 by greycatsidhe

“Tine Bealtaine” by one of my favorite groups – Omnia.

Time to get in the mood for tonight’s Beltaine festivities – the Maypole – the playful dance of fertility, the fires, and the celebration of renewed life!

Bad news first. I feel like rubbish tonight. Tea, tissues, and more episodes of “The Office.” The good news is that one of my short stories is getting published! 💚#writingcommunity
I think the visibility is worse. My windshield is covered after only a few minutes. The Winter Crone is working hard today! Wishing all safe passage. (I really need to change my tires...) #nny #winter #lakeeffectsnow #polytheistsofinstagram
    Just a typical winter day in the North Country. #nny #winter #forest #snow #lakeeffectsnow
What you’re looking at is part of a magical working I did a few years ago when we started house hunting. Somehow, this ended up moving from where I’d kept it. It found its way by a salt lamp that sweat during the summer’s humidity. The paper is crusted over with salt now. I found it while cleaning and was struck by how we got what we requested. We have things we’d like to improve, of course, but I have so much gratitude for our little house. Placing this salted parchment back where I was keeping it. I thought of returning it to the Earth... but it seems more like a protective talisman now. It possesses a calming, reassuring energy. #folkmagic #polytheistsofinstagram
